I'VE HAD IT !!!!!
I've had my fill of losing hair, growing hair, and losing it again. Of sickness. Of pain. Of fear. Have I missed anything? I am definitely NOT a person of whom my husband will say "Through all her pain, I never heard my dear wife complain". I wish ........
Diane, I know it may be hard for you to see some things during this cancer treatment process so I'm going to tell you what I see.
ReplyDeleteFirst, you have put Jesus in the forefront from day one. You have witnessed to people, asked people to pray to Jesus and you have cried out to Jesus over and over.
He has heard you.
Second, you have been blatantly honest about your feelings and your sufferings. You have given those of us who are your friends the opportunity to join you in your suffering, to pray with you and for you. You have allowed us to love you. Which, even though you may not believe it, blesses us. You give us the oppotunity to be Jesus to you and to share in his work. How awesome is that??
Third, (I always like to have 3 points!) You have maintained a sense of humor--OK, not every day, but many of them.

Diane, it is always refreshing to read your writings. You express what is going on in a candid yet humorous way. It is always good to see your smiling face. I can relate to what you say about the ups and downs as I see that each day with my wife Bobbie. This journey is one to draw you closer to Jesus and you certainly speak to this in your blog writings. Don't know what we would do without Him being our Rock as we travel this road. Just know we are lifting you up in prayer and sending hugs and our love your way too. (Including Bill).
